My new novel is here — and just 99 cents! "An action-packed urban fantasy you have to read!"

A Storm Is Coming...

After more than two years of work, my new novel Riders on the Storm is here. I'm thrilled to finally share it with you, and to celebrate its release, it's just 99 cents for a LIMITED launch window.

That's right. 99 cents. I'd say "cheaper than a cup of coffee," but it's way cheaper than that. Plus it will last a hell of a lot longer.

It's got action, adventure, mystery, suspense, a heist gone wrong, a stagecoach robbery and so much more. Jules Castle is one of my favorite protagonists to date. She's skilled, funny and doesn't always do the right thing. But it's always a blast to see what she'll do next.  I hope you'll give her a shot — and I hope you love the book as much as I did creating it.

You can buy it here for Kindle U.S. Or you can buy it for U.K. Kindle here. Hurry! This 99 cent deal will NOT last long.

Once you're finished, I would greatly appreciate your honest review. You can leave one by going to this link here.

Dakota Territory, 1883: A land of violence, lawlessness — and vicious monsters.

Jules Castle can outsmart, outgun, and outrun any bandit in the Old West. But will her legendary skills be enough to save her father?

Three years ago, Jules' outlaw father vanished during a mysterious mission. Since then, she's kept up the family business — robbing banks and chasing clues to his whereabouts across the Territory. Unfortunately, his trail sets her right in the path of supernatural, hard-to-kill creatures known as Vipers, whose bite will transform anyone into one of their kind.

Jules is determined to save her father, no matter the peril or cost. With the help of a bounty hunter and her adopted sister Miranda, she will have to pull off an impossible rescue. Hounded by former members of her father's gang, hunted by a U.S. Army posse, and pursued by Vipers, Jules' chances are slim. Can she beat the odds one last time?

My massive Halloween book sale -- almost all of my books FREE or on sale

So if you’ve followed me at all – and some of you have for years, for which I’m grateful – you know that I’m a huge fan of Halloween. My yard will attest to it, complete with a blow-up Headless Horseman, skeleton and ghosts roving the outside of my home.

That’s why most Halloweens I put one or two books on sale, maybe make something free. Well, this year I’m going for broke. I’m putting everything on sale (with one exception. Hang tight for that.) That’s right, if you haven’t read all of my novels, novellas or short stories, now’s your chance to get them at a great price. But hurry! This sale ends soon!

If you want to see everything on Amazon of what's on sale, click here. For individual titles, take a look below:

A Soul to Steal (The Sanheim Chronicles, Book One) — A serial killer stalks two young reporters in a small Virginia town on Halloween. But he’s not the only thing lurking in the dark. Reviewer: A Soul to Steal “is a brilliantly plotted roller coaster read, and I loved every page of it."

Just 99 cents! Buy it here.

Band of Demons (The Sanheim Chronicles, Book Two) — Reviewer: “An excellent second book with one hell of a twist!

Just 99 cents! Buy it here.

Give the Devil His Due (The Sanheim Chronicles, Book Three) — Reviewer: “A stellar conclusion to one of the best trilogies I've ever read... I'm still reeling from the ending."

Just 99 cents! Buy it here.

The Sanheim Chronicles Box Set — All three books in one fantastic box set.  A Celtic myth and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" collide in The Sanheim Chronicles, a highly-rated trilogy that deftly combines urban fantasy, mystery, and suspense.

Just $2.99! Buy it here.

Closed at Dark (The Soren Chase series) — When a mysterious creature targets a young boy, only paranormal investigator Soren Chase can stop it. But can Soren save the boy in time?

FREE. Download it here.

Carnival of Stone (The Soren Chase series) — When Soren arrives in the normally sleepy hamlet of Hilltop, he finds he's up against a creature unlike anything he's encountered before. It will take all his skills — and working with an unlikely ally — to survive.

FREE. Download it here.

The Forest of Forever (The Soren Chase series, Book One) — Evil is lurking in Reapoke Forest. When Soren is hired to find a girl who went missing there, he discovers an evil darker than he imagines — something that may force him to confront his own tragic past.

(Okay, so this is the one book that’s not on sale. Why? Because Amazon, which publishes the book, controls the price. But it’s a really great book and completely worth $3.99, not that I'm biased. It’s also free for Kindle Unlimited subscribers!)

Buy it here.

The Pretender (The Soren Chase series, Book Two) — Reviewer: “The series invites comparisons with the legendary Buffy and Angel series, with its blend of supernatural action, horror and touches of humor. It’s a tricky mix to pull off, but Blackwell succeeds, creating a story and characters you want to follow.”

Just 99 cents! Buy it here.

The Woman in the White Mask (The Soren chase series, Book Three) — Reviewer: "One of the most suspenseful and intense supernatural detective novels I've read... This character grabbed hold of my imagination and made me hungry for more."

Just 99 cents! Buy it here.

The Last Blog (The Soren Chase series) — Sean Gordon went inside Madison Manor on Nov. 14, 2010, and was never seen again.  All he left behind was a series of increasingly bizarre blog postings. But what really happened that night?

That’s it, folks. That’s all I have. Expect to hear more about my next novel very soon. I hope you have a safe and fun Halloween!
