My new novel is here — and just 99 cents! "An action-packed urban fantasy you have to read!"

A Storm Is Coming...

After more than two years of work, my new novel Riders on the Storm is here. I'm thrilled to finally share it with you, and to celebrate its release, it's just 99 cents for a LIMITED launch window.

That's right. 99 cents. I'd say "cheaper than a cup of coffee," but it's way cheaper than that. Plus it will last a hell of a lot longer.

It's got action, adventure, mystery, suspense, a heist gone wrong, a stagecoach robbery and so much more. Jules Castle is one of my favorite protagonists to date. She's skilled, funny and doesn't always do the right thing. But it's always a blast to see what she'll do next.  I hope you'll give her a shot — and I hope you love the book as much as I did creating it.

You can buy it here for Kindle U.S. Or you can buy it for U.K. Kindle here. Hurry! This 99 cent deal will NOT last long.

Once you're finished, I would greatly appreciate your honest review. You can leave one by going to this link here.

Dakota Territory, 1883: A land of violence, lawlessness — and vicious monsters.

Jules Castle can outsmart, outgun, and outrun any bandit in the Old West. But will her legendary skills be enough to save her father?

Three years ago, Jules' outlaw father vanished during a mysterious mission. Since then, she's kept up the family business — robbing banks and chasing clues to his whereabouts across the Territory. Unfortunately, his trail sets her right in the path of supernatural, hard-to-kill creatures known as Vipers, whose bite will transform anyone into one of their kind.

Jules is determined to save her father, no matter the peril or cost. With the help of a bounty hunter and her adopted sister Miranda, she will have to pull off an impossible rescue. Hounded by former members of her father's gang, hunted by a U.S. Army posse, and pursued by Vipers, Jules' chances are slim. Can she beat the odds one last time?

A storm is coming! New novel released NEXT WEEK!

After two long years, I’m excited to announce the pending release of my new novel, Riders on the Storm, arriving next week on Tuesday, May 21st.

I’m fired up to share this novel with you. This is the most fun I’ve ever had writing a book, and when you take a look at the setup, you’ll see why.

But first, take a gander at the gorgeous cover below. This may well be my favorite cover for any of my novels because it sums up so much about the character and plot in a single image:
As you might be able to tell from the cover, the year is 1883. The place is the Dakota Territory.

Yep, I wrote a western — with a twist. It has all the elements of a western — stalwart heroes, scheming villains, six shooters and stage coach robberies — but with monsters added to the mix. They’re called Vipers, and trust me, you don’t ever want to meet them. They arrive on the back of massive, black storm clouds, and if they so much as scratch you, you become one of them.

And there’s just one woman standing in their way.

Meet Jules Castle. She’s a hustler, thief and con artist extraordinaire, the daughter of a notorious outlaw who has taught her everything he knows. She can outshoot, outsmart and outrun anyone in the Old West. But she’s never faced a challenge like this before.

Her father has mysteriously vanished, and only she can save him. But she’s already under the gun, chased by her father’s former gang, a U.S. army posse and Vipers. She’ll need all her legendary skills to come out on top. Her chances are slim, but can she beat the odds one last time?

I had a blast writing this, and I think you’ll have just as much fun reading it. I can’t wait to share it with you. And you don’t have long to go. In less than a week, it’ll be here.

So strap on your boots, get your holster on and your six shooters ready. It’s time to go back to the Old West.

Announcing Dead and Gone, an awesome new box set! 13 killers by 13 bestselling authors. Because one just isn’t enough…

So it's long past time to tell you about a secret project I’ve been involved with.

So I’m pleased to announce the publication of Dead and Gone, a box set of 13 novels by New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal and Amazon bestselling authors filled with murder mysteries, crime fiction, paranormal thrills and much more.

The stories have exactly one thing in common: a serial killer. Some novels revolve around amateur sleuths, others are about seasoned police detectives and at least one features two tough local reporters (Spoiler alert: that one’s mine). The stories dip into other genres, including police procedurals, supernatural suspense and even romance. That means there’s something there for everyone. All of the books are well-reviewed and guaranteed to keep you flipping pages as fast as you can.

For a limited time, you can download the set RIGHT NOW for just $2.99! That’s 13 novels for less than a cup of coffee. Or you can download it for FREE on Kindle Unlimited. But act fast, because the price will go up to $9.99 shortly.

But wait, there’s more! Part of the profits from the sale of this box set goes to Anicira No-kill Animal Shelter. That means your money is also going to a great cause.

This set features my first novel, A Soul to Steal, one of my bestselling and most highly-reviewed books. Here’s the pitch:

A serial killer on the loose, two reporters in his sights, and a legendary ghost haunting the town...

Lord Halloween, a vicious murderer who targeted Loudoun County, Va., twelve years ago, has returned. Quinn and Kate, two community journalists, race to uncover his identity before a promised bloodbath on Halloween. But to stop him, they may unleash a far darker threat — and pay an unimaginable price.

A Soul to Steal has been featured on USA Today and praised by reviewers for its thrilling combination of urban fantasy, mystery and suspense.

If you haven’t read it yet, feel free to pick up the boxed set and jump in. If you have read it, there are still 12 other novels from great authors to discover.

So what are you waiting for? Download the box set today!

P.S. For those wondering about my brand new novel, there's one coming. More on that soon!

My massive Halloween book sale -- almost all of my books FREE or on sale

So if you’ve followed me at all – and some of you have for years, for which I’m grateful – you know that I’m a huge fan of Halloween. My yard will attest to it, complete with a blow-up Headless Horseman, skeleton and ghosts roving the outside of my home.

That’s why most Halloweens I put one or two books on sale, maybe make something free. Well, this year I’m going for broke. I’m putting everything on sale (with one exception. Hang tight for that.) That’s right, if you haven’t read all of my novels, novellas or short stories, now’s your chance to get them at a great price. But hurry! This sale ends soon!
